For the past eight
years I have been responsible for the organisèation
of the annual house to house collection for
Christian Aid. Unfortunately, I am unable
to commit myself to the May 2003 collection as we
will be moving to Scotland in the near future. |
The
main responsibilities are contacting all the people
willing to collect, organising the distribution of the
envelopes and other publicity materials and the counting
and banking of all the money collected. The job is fairly
straightforward as most of our volunteers have been
collecting for many years.
Last
year our parish raised a total of £1,469.53 which makes
our effort very worthwhile. If there is anyone who feels
they are able to take over this task or would like
