Parish Weekend
I feel it’s
good at this time of year to be able to look forward to
holidays and in particular our parish weekend holiday
which again this year is in Eastbourne.
The York
House Hotel always gives us a very warm welcome and
provides very good facilities at a reasonable price. The
rooms are all en suite; the dining room provides good
food with a wide selection including vegetarian meals.
The hotel has an indoor heated pool, two lounge areas, a
bar, a veranda to look at the world going by and a
function room for our exclusive use.
Essentially
the weekend is about enjoying ourselves and getting to
know one another a little better. We have quizzes, games,
dancing, singing and any other ‘home grown’
entertainment we care to do. There is also free time to
explore the shops, museums,

for children, infants are free.
