Orphaids Collection Boxes Dear
Friends and Supporters of Orphaids. Once
again I am in the planning stages of my next trip to My
planned trip for last year was postponed for health
reasons but I am now in the throes of getting fit and
ready for this September when I will be visiting Santo
Domingo and some of the schools in the area. We have
been emptying collection boxes and forwarding the money
to Orphaids and I realised that in just the past twelve
months they have raised about £360. This goes towards
batteries and aids for the children as well as
maintaining the clinic facilities that we have
established on site. The money raised has come from a
wide variety of sources and I would like to say a big
thank you to the Coffee & Chat Club, the Choir, the
Saturday socials, and especially to the individuals who
regularly fill their collection boxes and bring them into
St Philip’s for me. If you have any boxes for
emptying please bring them to St Philip’s or put the
money in a plastic bag – make sure that you include
your name on the box or in the bag so I can give you a
receipt. Again
