Wellspring 2005 – The Friars, Aylesford – 18 June 2005

You may already know about Wellspring 2005, an initiative of Churches Together in Kent, bringing Christians together from the many different Churches in Kent. We want to commend it to Christians from across our two dioceses.

If you do know about Wellspring 2005, then may I we encourage you to mark the date – 18 June - in your diaries and encourage as many of your congregation to attend as possible.  I wellMany will remember the earlier Wellspring -1995 – as an extremely worthwhile day with something for everyone.

If you have not heard about Wellspring 2005, details should soon be with you!  The day is a celebration of our shared Christian faith in worship, fellowship, discussion, learning and fun.  Wellspring 2005 speakers will help us consider important issues facing us today, and workshops embrace a number of practical activities, including woodturning, worship and dance.

For those who want to be quiet, the grounds of Aylesford Priory, where we are assured of a warm welcome, are an inspiration in themselves.

For children and young people, there are programmes of special activities, including Sprinklers, where children can play safely while those responsible for them can enjoy a workshop or listen to one of the main speakers.

Application forms for the day will be distributed just after Easter and every effort has been made to keep the costs low – just £6 for adults and £2 for children if you book before the day.

We shall bothI shall be at Wellspring 2005 and I we look forward to seeing you … and making it a day to remember when we celebrate our Christian faith together.
