| From Jeff Foxley………… I would like to thank John Fowler, Paul Richards and John Coates for their contribution to recent editions of Community debating the issue of the apparent lack of interest shown towards ladies in our parish. (It was of particular significance in the February issue where the vicar sought to alleviate anxieties over women bishops). When I analysed the debate it struck me there was compelling arguments from both sides. However, I feel the greatest impact this correspondence has had is in invigorating Community. The fact that the two Johns and Paul have taken the trouble of committing themselves to print over a real and thought provoking issue is most refreshing. More to the point, it is to be hoped that the correspondence will inspire the rest of us who gladly sit back and let a few produce copy for the magazine, to be more actively involved in it's content thereby enhancing it's diversity and interest."
