The Annual Meetings of the Parish start at 7.30 pm on Monday 22nd April 2002 at St Philip's Hall. We start with the Vestry meeting at which Churchwardens and Assistant Churchwardens are elected. There are some changes in the rules governing these events. There are more stringent rules about who is qualified for office. A nomination form is to be filled in and given to me before the meeting starts. Nominations may not be accepted once the meeting has started. If anyone wishes to stand for office or nominate someone else as Churchwarden or  Assistant Churchwarden please ask me for a Nomination Form and return the form to me in person by Noon on Sunday 21st April. While I am obliged to receive nomination forms up to the start of the meeting I would appreciate receiving them earlier as late nomination forms may delay the start of the meeting. The usual procedure is generally followed with voting by eligible members of the vestry if there are more nominations than posts. There are some changes to the rules in particular and rare occasions. 

The Vestry meeting is followed by the Annual Parochial Church Meeting at which representatives to the Deanery Synod, the PCC and Sidesmen are elected, and reports presented. Please make every effort to come to this meeting which I believe is an important one in the life of our parish.
