Saints Summer Fete The Summer Fete is being held on Saturday 26th July from 11.30am to 4.30pm in and around the church. This is also River Festival Saturday and we plan to have Ploughman’s Lunches, tea and cakes, a barbecue and lots of stalls and games. There will be an opportunity to go up the Tower and have a bird’s-eye view of the colourful scene along the river bank. You will also be able to have a go at ringing the bells as the bell-ringers will be demonstrating their skill. Please book the lunch early so as not to be disappointed on the day. Roger Manuel and Jeff Foxley are organising the list of stall-holders. Please contact them if you can help in any way on the day or before. The theme for this years fete will match that of the River Festival: it is PIRATES. Book the date in your diary and then come along and enjoy yourself. Mary Shaw |
