Christian Aid Collection 2005

Thank you so much to everyone in the parish for the help we received in collecting for Christian Aid this year. We had 18 collectors covering 1153 homes with an average per envelope collected of £1.91.

The total amount collected in the envelopes this year amounted to £910.00. There will be an extra amount to add to this by the people who kindly completed the Gift Aid section on the envelopes, and this will swell our collection by a further £89.49, making our final gift to the charity of £999.49p.

 This is just a few pence different from last year, and a figure we can be proud of achieving, especially in a year when there have already been many opportunities for charities to ask for help for overseas funds, so thank you once again everyone.
