Shalom Centre Maidstone

 

The Shalom Centre, a Centre for Christian Healing, Wholeness and Counselling currently have five Counsellors and a Listener, all of whom have expertise in a wide range of social problems.  One specialises in children’s and youth work, with another dealing mostly with male issues.  All Counsellors are affiliated to the British Association of Counsellors or the Association of Christian Counsellors.

 

A contribution of around £15 per session for general running of Shalom though this is negotiable for those unable to pay.

On Tuesday the 7th October 2003 there will be a Ploughman’s Lunch from 12 noon to 2.00pm at Maidstone Community Support Centre. The Revd. Don Irvine, Vicar of Harrietsham, Ulcombe, Boughton Malherbe and Lenham will address the question “Healed or Cured?”. The suggested contribution to this event is £3.00 which will include refreshments.

 

On Saturday the 11th October between 10.00am and 3.00pm the Revd. Tom Small, formally Director of Fountain Trust and Parish Priest, will talk on “Grace Abounding”. The venue will be Maidstone Community Support Centre and the suggested contribution is £6.00 to include drinks. Those attending are requested to bring a packed lunch.
