All Saints and St Philip's Mothers' Union
We did not meet in Maidstone last month but instead went to Canterbury for our Diocesan AGM. This was very well attended and we were able to say farewell to our retiring Diocesan President and Trustee Board and to welcome those newly elected to serve for the next three years. After lunch our retiring Worldwide President, Trish Heyward, told us about her work for the last six years, during which she had visited 27 different countries. We came away knowing how the MU spreads its work over several continents.
The following day Trish came to tea with all our Deanery members at St Paul's, Boxley Road and we were all able to have an informal chat with her.
