All Saints with St Philip Mothers’ Union

On  January 5^th we held our Wave of Prayer meeting, during which a new member was admitted to our branch by Chris. Immediately after this we held a successful Coffee Morning in aid of the MU Overseas Fund.

The following week we held our monthly afternoon meeting, during which we learnt many facts about how Fairtrade works and which products are available in our local supermarkets and Oxfam shop. We also had a chance to taste different sorts of tea, chocolate and delicious biscuits and cookies.

We will meet again in All Saints at 2.30pm on Tuesday 14^th February. The afternoon will be a chance to exchange favourite recipes and taste many of them. Just come along and enjoy the afternoon and bring a small sample of your favourite recipe and a written copy of it.

On Wednesday the 9^th August a service will be held in All Saints church to celebrate Mary Sumner Day at which we shall be welcoming Members from nearby Deaneries. Refreshments will be served after the service. Please watch this space for further details!
