All Saints with St Philip Mothers’ Union

Our February meeting was held in All Saints Vestry and we enjoyed listening to Betty Page, a local MU Trustee.

We are now looking forward to TWO meetings in March. The first will be our usual afternoon meeting in the Vestry. This will be a chance for people to hear more fully about the various MU social occasions held outside our parish and attended by some of our members. This meeting is on  Tuesday 9th March at 2.30pm and as well as talking there will be tea and cake.

Our second meeting will be our  FIRST EVENING meeting and will be held at St Philip’s at 7.30pm on Tuesday 23rd March.   The Speaker will be Edna Tupper and she will be speaking about ‘Operation Sunshine’, a Kent-based charity, who send aid in many forms to people in Africa and other parts of the world. Refreshments will follow the talk. This meeting is open to all, younger or older, tall or short, male or female.

We are trying out three evening meetings this year because we know that family and work  can mean that many people cannot attend afternoon groups. Why not come and have a social and interesting evening?

MU programmes are available on the notice boards in both churches and contact numbers are on the yellow pages of the magazine.
