The
Maidstone Nightclub Chaplaincy has gone through some
major changes in the last 6 months or so, a lot of things
have changed including a new steering group (introduced below)
and the fact that Church Army are now handling the
financial administration. Diana Greenfield has remained
our full-time Nightclub Chaplain and is working closely with
the new steering group to ensure that we have strong
foundations for a long-term view of the project. Despite
many changes the project has continued to minister the
clubbing community of In
September Diana was the speaker for Most
importantly the work in the club has continued. The
Chaplaincy has been working in IKON on Tuesday, Friday
and Saturday nights, meeting people, taking the
occasional worried friend to hospital behind the
ambulance, sitting with the sick, upset or distressed
clubbers. Waiting with one pregnant clubber who appeared
in the photo in the Times as she approached her due date. Matthew
