Fremlin Walk Chaplaincy
There to listen and support

The Fremlin Walk Chaplaincy aims to establish a chaplaincy at Fremlins Walk to support people in the workplace.

Are you available to be part of the Lay Chaplaincy team?

The chaplaincy will offer support by valuing people, listening to them and taking their needs seriously. It will be a free service for managers and staff alike.

What will the chaplains offer?

Time. If people want to talk, a Chaplain will have time to listen. This could be about any issue, whether work related, personal or life in general. This will be done informally at the workplace or at other times and places that can be arranged.

Availability. One of the Chaplaincy team will informally visit workplaces on a regular basis. This will allow relationships and trust to be built up. Chaplains will also be contactable between visits if there are issues that need to be discussed.

Impartiality. The Chaplains are not employees of Fremlin Walk, but will visit as invited guests to the workplace. They can therefore work with a company’s systems or welfare staff whilst offering confidential, independent, impartial support.

Respect. The Chaplaincy team guarantees to be considerate of the ideology, ethnicity, gender, sexuality of all people and will not interrupt work or intrude where not wanted.
