Sticky but fun.
This is
not the description of eating a treacle tart with your
fingers but of the March meeting of the Mothers Union.
The members created a collage; showing all the MU stands
for and giving pictorial examples of it work in this
diocese and worldwide. The collage can now be seen
hanging on a pillar at the back of All Saints church.
In April
we have two meetings. On Tuesday 12th
April at 2.30pmBrian Cannell will continue his guided
tour of All Saints. We began it last year but got
so engrossed in the detail that we only got half way
round. Then on Tuesday 26th April at 7.30pmin
St Philips church (i.e. downstairs) Pat Dickens
will talk about the Parenting Courses which the MU runs
in Maidstone. Everyone is welcome to come to
our meetings and we look forward to seeing new faces.

Coffee Morning in aid of MU
Away from it all holidays.
We were
very pleased that our retiring collection on Mothering
Sunday raised £110.00 for the 2005 AFIA holidays in this
diocese. We are also holding a Coffee Morning
on Saturday 23rd April from 10am to 12noon in All Saints
Church. As well as coffee there will be a Cake
Stall, a Produce Stall, a Raffle and a Bring and Buy
Stall. Tickets are available from MU members
or on the day at £1 each.
Please
come and help us give several families very happy holiday
at Herne Bay court.
