Maidstone Christian Care

After six years as Manager of Maidstone Day Centre for Homeless and Vulnerable People, Andrew Sanalitro has announced his resignation in order to take the helm of an exciting new community project in East London.

Chairman of Maidstone Christian Care, Mike FitzGerald, said “On behalf of the trustees and the people of Maidstone I would like to thank Andrew for his dedication to some of the most disadvantaged members of our community. His experience, compassion and vision has helped to turn around many troubled lives and has ensured the future of Maidstone Day Centre for those yet to come.”

“My time in Kent has been very special and I shall miss all the men and women who have passed through our doors,” said Andrew, “ I am thankful for all the support I have had from staff, volunteers and everyone I worked with. It was like belonging to one big family and I know that whoever takes over from me will be made very welcome.”

Plans are going ahead to recruit a new manager for Maidstone Day Centre.
