Choral Evensong

There are a very small number of parishioners who attend this service.  I am privileged to be one of them.  For the service on March 19th there were only three members of the congregation, who had the pleasure of hearing the choir sing the anthem ‘Let thy merciful ears’ by the Elizabethan composer Thomas Mudd and the moving chanting of the psalms in plainsong by the men.

This moving and reflective service deserves a larger congregation.  The evenings are getting lighter again and I urge you all to come and swell our numbers.
