The African Supper which we held in May was a very enjoyable evening and raised around £140 for the MU Overseas Fund. Twenty eight members and their families and friends from three branches in Maidstone came to All Saints.
On May 20th two members went to the Spirituality Day held in the International Study Centre at Canterbury Cathedral. They enjoyed various workshop which included, ‘Walking the Labyrinth’, Music and Prayer, Poetry and Prayer, Julian Prayers and Dance and Prayer. The Archbishop joined the groups at lunchtime and the day concluded with Evensong in the cathedral lead by the Archbishop, Dean and Precentor.
Our June meeting is on Tuesday 13th June at 2.30pm in All Saints. The main speaker will be Brian Cannell, who will be continuing his series on the history of the church.
