Stewardship Renewal Campaign 2005 Financial Update
I am writing on behalf of the PCC to say a very big thank you to everyone who responded so generously following the excellent stewardship presentation by David Noakes, Diocesan Stewardship advisor.
In financial terms the monies pledged in a full year compared to 2004 accounts are as follows:
Total Pledges including Gift Aid £60,820
Total per 2004 Accounts £54,665
Increase (11.25%) £ 6,155
This is an excellent response and should mean we can pay more of our Parish Share in 2005 than in previous years.
Could I make the following requests?
Firstly, if anyone still has to return their stewardship promise cards and I am aware that there are a few still outstanding, it is not too late to do so.
Secondly, if you give by way of a bankers standing order, please remember to amend it to reflect your revised pledge.
Thirdly, if your circumstances change during the year, please remember you can amend your pledge at any time.
Finally, I am aware that there were some problems with the distribution of the stewardship “pack” & if you would like to suggest improvements to the current system please speak to me or any member of the PCC.
But my message is give yourselves a large pat on the back, well done & thank you.
