Parish Carol Singing

Yes folks, it's that time of year again when we can all look forward to a couple of evenings out in the parish singing carols and bringing the Christmas message to folk in their own homes.

Our carol singing will be on two evenings - Thursday 15 December from Archbishop Courtenay School, Tovil Site and and Monday 19 December from St Philips.

This year there will be a choice of two times at Tovil on the Thursday - Carol Hardy will be leading the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and their  families who will set off at 6.30pm, returning for refreshments at 8pm. (Others will be very welcome to join in.  If you wish to find out more please contact Carol on 01622 675052.)   Collections will be for the Kidney Foundation and the Snowdrop Appeal.  The church carol singers, with  large numbers of reinforcements from Archbishop Courtenay School will  leave the school at 7.00pm and will be back for hot soup at 9.00pm.

On Monday 19th the singers will leave St Philips at 7pm and return for soup at 9.00pm.

This is a wonderful opportunity to sing favourite carols - several times! - and to enjoy the company of a wide range of people from right  across the parish.
